COMMERCIAL KITCHEN HOOD CLEANING
What should a hood cleaning cost in your kitchen?
The range below is built from industry pricing norms — per-hood base fees, rooftop fan adders, duct uplift, and frequency discounts. It’s an estimate, not a quote, but it’ll keep you from getting bled on price.
HOOD CLEANING COST CALCULATOR
Built on NFPA 96 job types and typical commercial kitchen pricing. Output is a range — not a quote.
HOW WE CALCULATE THIS
The pricing model, briefly
Hood cleaning is quoted on five variables, and almost every surprise in a bid traces back to one of them:
- Hood count and complexity. A single-hood pizza shop is one job. A full line with a charbroiler + wok + fryers is a different job.
- Rooftop fan(s). Each one has to be lifted, cleaned, and reset — with its belts and bearings checked. Priced per fan.
- Duct length and access. Long vertical duct through a 3-story building costs more to clean and to photograph for your file.
- Rooftop access. Interior stairs are fine. Exterior ladder is standard. A lift truck adds real money.
- Frequency. Recurring service (quarterly/monthly) should come with a discount off the one-time price — and with steadier documentation.
We do not take a kickback from companies on this site. The calculator is designed to give you a sanity-check range before you call anyone, so you can walk into a quote knowing whether it’s in the ballpark.
